Who Invented Robot ?

In light of technological breakthroughs and an increase in their application across numerous industries, robots have been the subject of regular discussion in recent years. A wider variety of jobs may now be carried out by more capable robots because to the advancements in Artificial Intelligence and machine learning. Additionally, businesses may now more affordably use robots in their operations thanks to the declining cost of technology. As a result, the usage of robots has increased in sectors like manufacturing, logistics, and healthcare.

Who Invented Robot ?

The idea of robots has been around for centuries, and numerous individuals have made contributions to their development. The fable of Pygmalion, who made a sculpture that came to life, is just one example of the myths and tales that the ancient Greeks and Romans had about robots.

Leonardo da Vinci created drawings for a humanoid robot in the 16th century. Vaucanson and de Mêzy, two clockmakers and engineers, produced toys and automata that could move and carry out simple duties in the 17th and 18th centuries. Robotics would eventually utilise the electric motors and other technologies that were invented by inventors like Nikola Tesla and George Westinghouse in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

The term "robot" and the idea of the "Three Laws of Robotics," which are the cornerstones for the ethical handling of robots, were popularised in the 1930s by science fiction author Isaac Asimov. Researchers at universities and businesses started creating robots for use in industry and science in the 1950s and 1960s. The Unimate was one of the first robots to be deployed in a factory; it was created in the 1950s by George Devol and Joseph Engelberger. With the introduction of personal robots like the Sony Aibo and the iRobot Roomba, robots started to appear more frequently in homes and offices in the 1980s and 1990s.

All in all, the development and innovation that led to the creation of robots was a protracted process that involved numerous individuals and academic areas.
